Std 9 Field trip to Vansh Dairy Farm

Field trip to Vansh Dairy Farm- Ajarpura gave us the deeper knowledge about Animal Husbandry and Horticulture as it was a visit to cattle farm as well as lesser known Mushroom farm.
The best thing we observed there was articles from cow dung. Excellent concept to reduce the carbon load on nature. They prepare articles such as incense sticks, diya, pot, decorated pieces, clock, idols, organic wood for cremation and holika dahan in eco-eco-friendly manner. Excellent initiation towards Sustainable Development.
After the Field trip, students had an integrated activity wherein they were given 5-6 days to compile and analyse the data as per instructed by different subject teachers to realise that life learning isn't confined in the silos of different subjects; rather in real life, learning is integrated.
