Class 5 - Vocational Training Mahendi & Tattoo (Dated: 23-08-2025)

The Mehendi Club activity was conducted for the students of Class 5 on 23rd August 2025, Saturday. The session began with a brief introduction on the history of mehendi, highlighting its origin, traditional significance, and cultural importance in festivals and celebrations. Students also learnt about how mehendi symbolizes joy, beauty, and good fortune. After the informative session, the students engaged in a hands-on activity where they practiced simple mehendi patterns such as dots, lines, flowers, and paisleys in their drawing books. The activity encouraged creativity, patience, and artistic expression among the learners. It was an enjoyable and enriching experience that not only connected the students with cultural traditions but also gave them an opportunity to explore their artistic skills. The Tattoo designing Club activity was conducted for the students of Class 5. The session began with a brief introduction on the history of tattoos, highlighting its origin, traditional significance and modern trends of tattooing, learning how this ancient art has evolved into a global style statement. The club provided opportunities to discuss tattoo designs, understand their meanings, share personal stories and even design creative artwork. This session builds a platform where creativity meets culture and where every student is encouraged to appreciate tattoos as a form of meaningful artistry.It was an enjoyable and enriching experience that not only connected the students with cultural traditions but also gave them an opportunity to explore their artistic skills.
