Class 7 -Visit to Meteorological Department (Dated: 20-09-2025)

The field trip to Meteorological department was planned for students of class 7th on 20th September'25. This enhanced students understanding and accurate simulation and prediction of atmospheric phenomena. The trip taught students about valuable life skills such as data interpretation, analytical thinking and teamwork, alongside ethical values like environmental stewardship, responsibility, and the importance of scientific accuracy for societal well-being. They developed an appreciation for climate change, the application of technology in meteorology, and potential career paths in the field. Direct exposure to advanced technologies like satellite imaging, Doppler radar, and automated weather stations improved their understanding of how technology aids in weather forecasting.
